Search Engine Marketing (SEM) refers to getting targeted visitors to your site both by advertising using Pay Per Click (PPC) and featuring in free natural Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS) using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). It involves a combination of planning and (entry-level) technical knowledge. This course does not lose sight of the need to market to humans first, search engine robots second.
